Habitat

Hourglass dolphins live in polar, salted water places. They are found in the southern ocean, which are in the water around Antarctica. Macaroni penguins, colossal squids, Galapagos Hammerhead sharks are all animals found in the southern ocean. The southern ocean is salted water and its the coldest and windiest ocean on earth. The southern ocean is covered by ice sheets. The average temperature of the southern ocean is 2-4 celcius. Hourglass dolphins are the only dolphin species with a dorsal fin that lives below the antarctic convergence point. Hourglass dolphins sleep in the water's surface or in shallow water
